Purchasing service from a prostitute is illegal in Iceland. Strip clubs and printed porn have also been banned. Now the government led by a feminist lesbian ruler is thinking about banning all internet pornography as well. Iceland may join the likes of Saudi Arabia in banning pornography. http://www.icenews.is/2013/11/22/reykjavik-police-shut-another-hookers-club/ http://www.icelandreview.com/icelandreview/daily_news/Big_Sister_Watches_Buyers_of_Prostitution_in_Iceland_0_383393.news.aspx http://grapevine.is/News/ReadArticle/Big-Sister-Documents-Inadmissable http://grapevine.is/News/ReadArticle/Big-Sister-Sends-Out-Tips-For-Spotting-Illegal-Massage

The Blue Lagoon in Iceland The Blue Lagoon (Icelandic: Bláa lónið) geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The spa is located in a lava field in Grindavík on the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwestern Iceland. Bláa lónið is situated approximately 13 km (8 miles) from the Keflavík International Airport and 39 km (24 miles) from the capital city of Reykjavík. That is roughly a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 40 minute drive from Reykjavík. Subscribe to FIGHTLAND: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Fightland Despite its tiny population, Iceland has a reputation in the World's Strongest Man competition that stands higher than perhaps any other country's. This small, black rock in the middle of the ocean has produced a lineage of strongmen dating back to the Vikings. VICE went out there to investigate why this tiny island produces such strong people. Hanging out at Jakabol—a gym run by ex-champion Magnus Ver Magnusson—we met a whole host of Icelandic strongmen, which includes Hafthor "Thor" Bjornsson, the 6'9" star of Game of Thrones. Iceland's Blue Lagoon is the most popular attraction in the country, attracting an average of 2,000 guests a day and up to 5,000 guests in peak summer months. The Blue Lagoon is such an essential part of a visit to Iceland that there's even a Blue Lagoon shuttle bus that will take guests from their hotels in Reykjavik to the airport—with a two-hour geothermal spa stop in between. It's an ideal way to prepare for the long flight home. In 2016, visitors will actually be able to overnight at the Blue Lagoon itself. A five-star resort, with a private geothermal spa, is currently in the works. As you might have learned from our webisode about Icelandic elves (watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRvVmY5Vr98), many Icelanders have a certain respect for fairies, elves, trolls and oth...

It is a relaxing, rejuvenating experience soaking in the Blue Lagoon, especially if you are celebrating something. I also had the massage in the Lagoon, it is advertised that s out of this world. It is not, do not waste your 100 $/euros for half hour. A massage to be effective, you need to be on a stable/ firm surface. In the Lagoon they have you on a floating mattress, holding you afloat with one hand and massage you with the other. If you want to just soak, there are 14 hot spring pools in Reykjavik, for 5 $/euros per day, the tour guide told us, that s where the locals go.
